Telepathy is a form of communication that occurs between a sender and a receiver over distance without the use of words or signals. It was one of the first intuitive skills ever evaluated by scientific analysts in research studies.
Most people have experienced moments where they were thinking about someone and then soon after, they received a telephone call from that person. In the past week alone, I have counted this particular form of telepathy happening to me at least once each day this week sometimes more. In fact, my significant other and I have cross text messaged at least five times in the last six days. All of this is part of my daily life and until preparing for this course, it had become so commonplace for me that it no longer registered in my mind to take note of it.
What I found interesting while paying attention to the telepathic messages people were sending me, was that more people send me love than send me anger. But, people do send me anger, jealousy, resentment, worry and a number of other negative emotions. And, I too am guilty of sending these same hurtful messages to others. I am only human after all.
The difference though is that I recognize I am doing it, and I am able to turn it around. Instead of sending negativity out, I send the situation or relationship love. Then, in a few short days, I hear from that person and the exchange is much more pleasant and favorable. This is a wonderful skill to have to both be able to understand when someone is sending you message and also to realize when you are sending out unhelpful messages. It is a skill all of us can develop with practice.
Another topic I will cover at the July 18th workshop is remote viewing. It has also been a subject of many scientific studies and has been of great interest to the United States government. Remote viewing is the ability to describe and give details about a place that can not be physically accessed because of distance, time or shielding. The movie "The Men Who Stare At Goats" brought attention to this skill and to the U.S. government's parapsychology program. Congress funded an ESP-type program from 1972 through the mid-1990s. During this time, military personnel were recruited to undergo training to improve their skills of remote viewing.
Through scientific trials, methods of training have been developed which can help individuals improve their intuitive abilities. I have been studying these methods for a few years and must admit that remote viewing is still a skill I find difficult. When I lose something, I am usually able to sense where it is and follow my intuition in order to retrieve it. But, I am not that great at being able to describe to people where to find their lost objects. We will practice these skills in the workshop.
Learning how to improve your innate intuitive abilities helps you more easily navigate the daily demands of life. It allows you to use telepathy to send clear messages to those around you in order to obtain more favorable responses. This skill can be particularly useful for individuals in sales, executives managing people, or amongst your family. Remote viewing is helpful in daily life to locate missing objects, view a competitors' products, plan investments, view relationships, evaluate real estate, or see where your children really are when they say they are studying with a friend.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, preregistration is required and can be done by calling 917-524-7803 or visiting my website at www.catrinastiller.com. The event is being held at Rehoboth Beach Yoga Studio from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
